Multi-slide door
A multi-slide door has several large panels that slide past each other or tuck into a wall pocket to open a whole wall.
Instead of two panels, a multi-slide system can use three, four or more. They run on separate tracks and stack behind one another. In a pocket version, the panels slide fully into a recess in the wall and disappear.
The opening can span most of a wall. That gives indoor-outdoor living with a clean look. Weight and track design matter, so ask how the system rolls and drains. It builds on the lift-and-slide door. Read the multi-slide and pocket doors guide for planning details, and see our sliding doors pillar.
